Settings and Configuration
Accessing Settings
You can customize various aspects of Bulifier AI through its Settings menu. Look for a gear icon (⚙️) or an entry labeled "Settings" in the main menu or top bar.
AI Model Selection
Bulifier supports multiple underlying AI models. In the settings, you can often choose which models to use for different parts of the AI workflow:
- Context Model: This model is primarily used for understanding your request and analyzing your project code to determine the relevant context, especially crucial for the efficiency of the "Chat" tab. You might choose a faster or less expensive model optimized for understanding and retrieval.
- Prime / Generation Model: This is the main model responsible for generating code, writing documentation, or modifying files based on your prompts and the gathered context. You might select a more powerful (and potentially more expensive) model here for higher quality results.
The ability to configure these separately allows you to balance cost, speed, and output quality according to your needs and the complexity of the task.
Bulifier Tokens and Purchases
Bulifier utilizes an internal credit system, "Bulifier Tokens," to meter the usage of AI features. This allows for flexible pricing based on the computational cost of different models and request complexity.
- Cost Basis: The token cost is calculated based on the specific AI model used and the amount of data processed (input and output tokens). It's designed with a reference point: 1 Bulifier Token roughly aims to equate to the cost of 1 input token for OpenAI's GPT-4o model, with costs for other models adjusted proportionally.
- Cost Visibility: The estimated or actual token cost for an AI operation is usually displayed within the AI interface (e.g., near the input field or timer).
- Purchasing Tokens: When you need more tokens, you can purchase them within the app, typically accessed through the Settings menu or a dedicated "Tokens" / "Purchase" section. Tokens are usually sold in bulk packages (e.g., bundles of 1 million tokens).
- Purchase Policy: For detailed terms regarding token purchases, usage, potential refunds, and validity, please consult the official Purchases Policy.
